Lauren Magee is a second-year Classical Archaeology and Ancient History student at Magdalen. Her acting experience within Oxford includes the Cuppers play GOD (Burton Taylor, MT 2011), marketing and performing in 'The Tempest' (Garden Show, TT 2012) alongside last years Players, took on the roles of Stage Manager for the show 'Closer' (TT Keble O Reilly) and lighting operator for the OUDS Summer Tour show 'Machinal' (Edinburgh Fringe 2012) and is preparing to perform new show 'Beats' (Simpkins Lee, MT 2012). Main credits with old theatre troupe include: Little Shop of Horrors (Mushink, '05), Godspell ('06), Amadeus (Edinburgh '08), Seussical (Her Majesty's Theatre, West End, '08), Waiting for Godot (Estragon, Edinburgh '08), Mother Courage and her Children (Mother Courage, Edinburgh '09), , A Clockwork Orange (Alex, '10), Roberto Zucco ('10), Much Ado About Nothing ('11) and many more. Aside from this she has completed LAMDA's speech and drama examinations, with honours, to the final 'Gold' standard and participated in short courses on devising and physical theatre with RADA and LAMDA respectively.
